The role of the volunteers at Dauterive Hospital is an important one! They provide valuable services to the hospital by assisting the facility in achieving the hospital's goals: providing high quality, cost effective healthcare services and promoting these services in the community.
Volunteers achieve these goals by:
-
Augmenting and expanding the services provided by our staff.
-
Providing desirable supplemental services which contribute to total patient care and patient satisfaction.
-
Assisting the non-patient care departments by providing clerical support.
-
Helping to create and promote an understanding of the hospital and its services in the community.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at Dauterive Hospital, please call Ruth Genest, H2U/Volunteer Coordinator at (337) 374-4307.
ALL DAUTERIVE HOSPITAL VOLUNTEERS RECEIVE A COMPLIMENTARY MEMBERSHIP IN H2U, DAUTERIVE HOSPITAL'S HEALTHCARE PROGRAM FOR THOSE 50+.
*Valid for the duration of the volunteer commitment.
